Story of a  man Mohammed Zein Pundagau ' choose ' to be female. Muhamad Zein Pundagau is a man born from a family with strong Islamic traditions. His father is a kyai – a religious teacher and leader – who has significant influence in their village. In the Islamic tradition, someone who chooses to be a transvestite is considered a disgrace. But Muhamad Zein Pundagau prefers to be a transvestite called Renita Pundagau. Renita is eventually thrown out by his parents from their home. For years Renita is away from his home village.
